Family and Loved Ones

Its times like these that you realize just how much the world has changed and in many ways not for the better...with the economic situation families are strapped for cash...have to live where the work is and don't have the time or money to be there when other family members are in need...whether it be sickness...death or just lonliness...we are seperated and the family unit is broken...gone are the days when you all got together...Aunts...Uncles...cousins...big family get-togethers....no more or very seldom...
I miss those days...I had them growing up and when my kids were young...now we are scattered in every direction...our own lives...busy...or in ill health and just can't do it anymore...
it makes me sad...I need my family...need that closeness and the hugs..the words...remembering...memories...shared together of past times...happy...sad...hard times...
To all my family and loved ones...I love you...I miss you...I understand you can't be here...I really do...
I'm trying so hard to keep it all together and do the best I can...just so sad that it isn't different...
