The Storm has Passed...

I am so tired...exhausted from the last 9 days....so much stress and worrying...not sure what would happen...how it would all be...but the storm has passed...the funeral is over and we all survived...in our own ways...the storm I thought might rage...passed with a whimper...
Not sure what the future will bring...things will be different around here I know...Taking care of mom...helping her out..making sure she is okay....she doesn't drive so she will be dependant on help for so much...
I'm glad to do it...just worry about her being by herself so much now...she wants to stay in her home...feels closer to dad there...so for now that is what it will be....
As for me? My life will go on as it has, mostly...wait and see what the future brings...one day at a time...so many questions left unanswered...
Someday maybe I'll find the answers I seek...miracles do happen...
