The Woman was sad that the lion had chosen another life...one without her...but for maybe the first time she dared do be just what she was...she sat on a rock in her new domain and looked around her....so many possibilities...she had so many plans for what she wanted...the home of her dreams....a cottage made by her...a flower garden...her animal friends would come...new and old...and others...this place would be teaming with life...and love...the woman was wanted it all...now...but she knew she had to have patience...
patience? the woman thought again...and laughed to herself...how long had she been patient with the Lion....gave him time...trust...belief...only to have him ignore her and her love for him...well she had learned Patience alright...so it would serve her well now...she was safe behind her magical portal...the Lion might sense her once in awhile when it was open...might even catch a glimpse of her sometimes if he dared to come close enough...but he would never guess the simple secret to gaining entrance to her kingdom...as if he would dare try...for a Lion he was somewhat of a coward....wouldn't fight for what he wanted and needed...her...no, he wasn't a coward...it was just that he had been hurt so much by life...he didn't trust in life anymore...didn't know how to believe in anyone but himself...why do I keep making excuses for the Lion the woman wondered...yes, I will always love him...but he must be only a part of my past...by his own actions he shows he wants no more to be a part of my life...so I must Dare to leave him in the past...the past out there on the other side of my gate...the woman knew she must stop thinking of the Lion and what he meant to her...so she jumped up and started dancing...the dance of life...
and with the magic inside her....she started her kingdom....
Outside her gate....wandering the valley...the Lion could feel magic again...he didn't understand it...it made him curious and slightly afraid...what manner of being is near he thought...and he had a longing inside him he could not explain...and it left him sad and his heart heavy...he yearned to have magic back in his life...but how....
The woman laughed as she picked up on the Lion's yearnings...and with a swish of her hand..she sent a lightening bolt straight through his heart...may the storms of love build strong and true in the Lion she spoke....turmoil....longing for love...a huge terrible storm in his heart...
Yes, I Dare said the woman...take that, Lion and she sang the song of the sirens...the storm grew and grew in the lions heart...no more could he ignore...no more could he deny...he felt what she felt...he loved like she loved...and it was hard to bear....

Ahh.. Love the dragonflies! =)
