What is it about love that is so hard... why can't two people who are in love be together happily ever after...it all works out...no problems...just happy...happy, happy? if we didn't have unhappiness would we truly appreciate the good times...if we didn't have the struggle...the loss...
I think we have to experience both sides of love...the getting and the losing to truly be happy...and sometimes we just have to be happy with ourselves first...before we can find happiness with another...it takes time to heal from loss...time and patience to heal from all that life throws at us...it can really be amazing sometimes that we even survive...let alone be expected to thrive and be happy despite the life we've been dealt...
I know people who have come from broken homes...been abused by parents and loved ones...left alone and forgotten when sick and in need...how long does it take them to heal and be able to love another? or can they ever really trust and love someone if they've only experienced pain in relationships...
I think it can be accomplished...but it takes time...patience...tenderness...and never ending love...
How many of us really can do that for another? Do you have the patience to keep loving despite the hardships...to keep trying to make it work...show another tenderness and understanding no matter how they may hurt you/ If you truly love them...want to help them heal...you have to be willing to stay in it for the long haul...believe in them and believe it will eventually work and they will realize how very much you love them...no matter what they do...how they act...love itself is healing...if given enough time and patience...but too many give up too soon...look elsewhere at the slightest problem...the divorce rate is so high now days...and I imagine even higher the relationships that fail before they get to marriage...people give up too soon...wander from relationship to relationship trying to find the one that will work...when all the time you just need to slow down and make it work...no matter what...don't give up...be determined that you will not fail...believe it will work and it will...believe in love...take a chance and just believe...you can work miracles if you do...
There are miracles everywhere...you just have to realize it and see them...just like love...you just have to look and you will find...just like this blog...if you look closely...if you read between the lines in my posts...if you truly believe...you will find miracles....and a love like you've never thought you could find...look closely now...and tonight in your dreams...remember that place where I am...that place I am waiting for you...the place where I will always love you...
