Peace

Peace to you and those you hold dear...peace to all this night...May the love and light of the season bring peace...even for a short while...
I look for Peace...for understanding...but find it not...I don't understand...no trust have I in the future...nor do I have hope...my wishes are just wishes...falling in the dust...
Dreams elude me....love is for others...never me...
But on this night...a small spark still lingers...it's hidden deep so none can find...but it lays there...waiting...someday it will find the fuel it needs to grow strong.....then it will burn bright...
Until that day...I strive for Peace...only peace this night...
No tears...no pain...no longing...only peace...

and when I sleep..I ask to dream...once more a dream of hope...of love and trust...one of truth...and please let me still find when morning dawns...the strength to go on...believing in you....believing in love...
Can't the Fairytale come true...just once can't the prince rescue a princess from a Wizard and they live Happily Ever After....
