When you disrespect someone, it says more about you than it does about others. When you ignore someone, you convey the message that they are not worthy of your time and not important to you.
When to take advantage of someone, it shows you think people are objects.
Remember: Integrity is how you act when no one is looking. Be the kind of person you want your best friend to be. Be the kind of role model you want your children to be. Be nice!
Treat people the way you want to be treated...talk to people the way you want to be talked to...Respect is earned...not Given...
Found the above on my Facebook today...made me stop and think about some things...I've been ignored for quite some time by another...guess I should finally get the message...they don't respect me...I'm not important to them and not worthy of their time...funny, but I remember this same person being so hurt and upset when someone he loved did the same to him...he was sick and unable to get around...take care of himself...and was ignored and left alone by the most important person in his life at the time...you'd think a person that was treated in such a way...shown disrespect...made to feel unworthy...would never purposely make another feel that way...not if he cared any at all...
Treat others they way you want to be treated...I've always tried to live this way...evidently others don't...would you want to be ignored? Thrown Away like yesterdays garbage...with no explanation? For a person to treat another this way shows they had little or no feelings for that person...didn't respect them...didn't care a bit what became of them...didn't care if they broke a heart...destroyed another...To be the kind of person that would treat another human this way...one they said they loved...forever...it changed so quickly and they acted with no feeling...refused to talk it out...refused to give another chance...this is a person that is not worthy of your respect...not worthy of being believed in...and certainly not worthy of your love...He has no integrity...took advantage of another who loved him completely...he wasn't nice...he was mean and unfeeling...cold and uncaring...
It's time I faced the reality...the Prince was a fool...a cowardly Lion...He doesn't deserve to be loved or respected...his very actions show what he really is...selfish...cold-hearted...cares about no one but himself...no matter all his bravado of caring and pretending to put others before himself...its only a front to make himself look good to others...he cares not a whit about any but himself...poor, miserable, misunderstood him...he was hurt so much by others...not his fault...all theirs...but he dared to hurt another as much or more than he had ever been hurt...destroyed her so she can't love again...trust again...What kind of man would do this to another? Tell me, Please....
