The Surprise...

The princess looks around...before her lays open bare ground...nothing but dirt...where is the Surprise...what is it the Wizard did...I don't want to hurt his feeling thinks the princess...but I don't understand...what is the Surprise....
Very nice, Wizard....the princess stammers...I haven't seen this land cleared before...it has always been so overgrown...
Exactly exclaims the Wizard...I knew you would like it....it is the perfect place for you...

Yes, baby girl....with just a little more Magic here and there...

and with a wave of his hand....the land before her begins to change...plants grow...trees...grass...benches in the shade....stone paths meander here and there through lush greenery...then the plants begin to bloom...yellows....pinks...reds...blues...everywhere she looks the princess sees color...a flower garden has appeared where once was bare land...

It's beautiful Wizard! Thank you...it is a wonderufl surprise....how did you know I wanted a garden like this...
I know you better than you think I do...at least in some things, baby girl....I'm glad you like it...you'll have a place to come and relax...meditate...and just enjoy...

The princess wanders around the garden...smelling the flowers...watching butterflies and dragonflies flittering around the blooms...she sits on a bench and looks around her...sometimes the Wizard really surprises me...he can be so good and sweet and other times just the opposite..I dont' know how to take him...for now I guess I'll be content with what I have and let the future take care of itself...
The sun starts to set and the princess gets up and heads for home...happy for the moment...
