The princess went to bed...almost too tired to sleep, but sleep came...and dreams....nay, nightmares came...no one was who they seemed...the Wizard...Sam...the Lion...the prince...who were they really...the princess became lost in a thick fog...swirling clouds became thicker and darker....faces twirled about her just beyond her reach....they taunted her as they changed...the Wizard became the prince...then swirled into the Lion....Sam exploded into a snowstorm....raging around her...flakes piling up until they covered her completely...only to melt and become a swirl of planets and stars revolving around the princess...
The stars became faces...wolf...Lion...prince...Wizard...Sam...the princess could trust no one...they were all fake...nothing in her world was what it seemed to be...her trust and belief was an impossible dream...she had been a fool....never again...she should have learned her lesson long ago...Fairy tales are just that...fairy tales...and love an illusion....in her dreams that night...the princess lost some of her soul...and her heart? it became hard as stone...
